My Core Business Values and why they’re so important

Nov 13, 2023

I’ve been on a journey of rediscovery in my own business recently. This is a journey I take my clients on when they work with me on elevating their business. We look at bringing things back to basics and look at the very foundations of your business and its reason to be.

Without this process, I can’t create a strategic brand. A brand with purpose and connection to your ideal clients needs to dig much deeper than the aesthetics and go further into how we can attract and speak directly to the right people, whilst repelling the wrong ones.

It can be a crossroads in any business. As time passes and your business grows and evolves, inevitably, so will your brand need to follow. It’s a natural process in any business and especially in those first few years. My business is no exception and right now I’m at that crossroads.

So, I’ve gone right back to basics and reviewed everything. It takes a lot of work, but I know the results will be rewarding. I’ll be working with more of the clients I really want to help and serving more service based female founders to create the online presence they really dream of.

One of the first steps in the process of elevating a business and building a strategic brand is to take another look at your business values. One thing I have learned with these is that they can very easily be written down and then left in a notebook or Google doc and forgotten about. The reality is that your values should be things you genuinely believe in and be communicated every single day in your business so that you can attract your ideal clients.

And this is where it becomes obvious how a brand needs to be so much more than just a pretty logo and colour palette. A brand is actually a set of values communicated to your audience to attract them to how you work and what you stand for. This is also where the repelling of the people who aren’t right for you happens too. This can feel scary, but it’s so important to accept that not everyone is for you, and that’s a really important step in the process.

As I’m revisiting the way I do everything in my business at the moment, I want to share my core brand values with you so that you can relate to how they came to be and why they’re so important.

Clarity is the beacon guiding female founders on their journey of business rediscovery. As a designer, I help them find clear purpose, values, and vision. Clarity empowers them to craft a strategic roadmap, ignite their passion, and reflect it in their branding and website design, rekindling their love for their business.

As a designer, I specialise in helping female founders gain the confidence they need to get visible and show up by crafting captivating, personality-packed brands and websites. I provide strategic guidance, igniting their self-assurance to shine through in their businesses. I champion women in their journey to stand out and thrive, creating a brand they adore and one that will speak directly to their dream clients.

As a designer, I empower female founders to embrace their purpose, amplifying their impact and fueling their growth with compelling brands and websites they’ll be proud of. With a powerful brand and purposeful web presence, they can confidently navigate the business world, realizing their full potential.

As a designer, I go beyond aesthetics, crafting strategic, one-of-a-kind brands and websites for female founders. I empower clients with innovative content and visibility strategies. My work celebrates their distinctiveness, ensuring they stand out, connect with their audience, and thrive in the digital landscape. More than this, I provide them with the tools they need to continue their success and stay visible after we have worked together.

I’m a genuinely curious person and always need to learn more about the world around us. In fact this is one of my strongest character traits. Through captivating websites and strategic branding, I enable female founders to confidently showcase their businesses, embodying curiosity as a catalyst for visibility, empowerment, and success.

The interesting thing is that these have been my values from the very beginning when I started my business. The difference now is I have identified exactly why they are so important to me and that they are the things my clients connect with me on. It’s so important that when you identify your goals you also work out exactly how they relate to your ideal clients.

I’ve identified that female founders seem to lack confidence in getting visible online and that a new brand and website can give them a renewed confidence in themself whilst also allowing them to fall back in love with their business as we dig deep to identify all the reasons why they started their business in the first place.

So, have you identified your business values yet? Do you need help doing this? Let me know!
